🌵 Prickly Pear 🌵

We now stock pre-chopped, frozen chunks of Cactus pads (Opuntia ficus indica) also known as the Prickly Pear Cactus.

This is eaten by many reptiles in nature, particularly Mediterranean and desert species. It has a naturally high level of water and so aids hydration, but is also a great natural source of fibre and calcium.

Prickly Pear is suitable for a range of Tortoise, as well as omnivorous lizards such as Bearded Dragons, Iguanas and Uromastyx.
